We remind you that at any time you have the right to know which of your personal data we hold and its ongoing processing, to request its update or rectification, and, where provided by current legislation, to obtain its deletion, limitation of processing, or to oppose its processing. If desired, you can also receive your personal data in electronic format for transfer to a third party indicated by you.
At any time, by contacting our Data Protection Officer (DPO) through the details in Section 9 "HOW TO CONTACT US?" of the privacy statement, you can exercise the rights recognized by the Regulation, with reference to the specific processing we perform:
8.1. Request to access your personal data and receive information about the purposes of processing, categories of processed data, recipients or categories of recipients to whom your personal data may be communicated, expected retention period, application or not of profiling mechanisms and automated decision-making processes;
8.2. Request to rectify your personal data, allowing you to correct or complete data about you, although in some cases a prior verification of the accuracy of the new data you provided may be necessary;
8.3. Request to delete your personal data, allowing you to request the deletion or removal of your personal data if there are no valid reasons for continuing the processing. You also have the right to request deletion or removal of your personal data if you have exercised the right to object to processing and there are no other legal bases that allow us to maintain it, or if we have processed your personal data in violation of law or if we are required to delete your personal data to comply with a specific legal provision. We note that any deletion requests may not be met or may only be partially met; this may be due to, for example, legal, judicial, or fiscal constraints, independent of us, that prevent the total or partial deletion of your personal data. The reasons behind our total or partial inability to comply with your request will be promptly communicated to you;
8.4. Request to limit the processing of personal data, allowing you to request the suspension of processing of your personal data in the following cases:
(i) if you ask us to determine the accuracy of your data.
(ii) if you want your data not to be deleted, even though our use of the data is in violation of a rule.
(iii) if you want your data to be retained even when there are no longer reasons for us to retain it, as you intend to ascertain, exercise or defend a legally protected right.
(iv) if you have objected to the use of your data but these are necessary for us to ascertain the existence of legal grounds for their use.
8.5. Request to object to the processing of your personal data, allowing you to obtain the cessation of processing of your personal data in relation to the purpose(s) you indicated. We note that our acceptance of your request for opposition may or may not be based on the assumption of legality of the processing itself;
8.6. Request for portability of your personal data, providing you or a third party indicated by you with your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. This will be done, if technically feasible, only for personal data whose processing is carried out by automated means and if the processing is based on consent or the execution of a contract;
8.7. Revocation of consent, if the processing is carried out against your explicit consent, we will comply with your request for revocation within the times provided by the Regulation, ceasing the processing in question. Regarding the revocation of consent to the processing of your personal data for marketing and/or profiling purposes, notwithstanding the possibility of exercising this right by writing to the email address privacy@sinotix.net, we note that in every communication we send, via email or SMS, of a promotional nature, there is a functionality through which you can autonomously:
(i) proceed to block one or more of the communication channels we use to contact you;
(ii) revoke consent to the processing of your data for marketing purposes. In this case, all our advertising and/or promotional communications will cease and any active newsletter service will be automatically deactivated;
(iii) revoke consent for profiling purposes. Also, in each of our newsletters, there is a functionality through which you can unsubscribe from the newsletter service.
8.8. Refusal to be subject to automated decision-making, allowing you not to be subjected to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or that similarly significantly affects you. If the processing is carried out based on a legitimate interest, ours or third parties', we reserve the right to evaluate the reasons for your request. If the reasons behind the processing legitimately prevail over your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if it is necessary for us to process such data in order to initiate, carry out legal actions or defend ourselves in court, we will be forced to not accept your request, explaining the reasons for the denial.
Finally, you may at any time decide to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority or take legal action in case of violation of data protection regulations or if you believe that one or more of your rights have been violated. You will not be discriminated against for exercising one or more of the rights granted by the regulations, nor will such exercise have repercussions on any ongoing relationship with the Company
